This device accepts up to 8 enhanced SHDSL Ports from the network and provides one (2)10/100 Base-T Ethernet interfaces and (1) Optical SFP interface for customer Ethernet service.  The 838EP provides enhances protection on powering interfaces, Ethernet interfaces and E.SHDSL interfaces against lightening strike. This part number is 24/28 VDC powered and requires an external AC/DC power supply for AC operation(1202470). This product is MEF Compliant.  This product is RoHS compliant.
